How VERY TRUE!
I'm sure we know many people who do this, I do. As usual, its a supply and demand in the referenced areas. As schools do not teach second languages in Mexico as a rule, individuals that speak a second language, especially english can get work 'under the table'. The tourist industry especially has a need for english speaking help in areas that interface with tourists. Private english tutoring is a worldwide trade even if you do not have teaching credentials. There is a need for these individuals so the 'eye is turned'.
